Just like every other year, the 2024 Melbourne Cup Carnival displayed an impressive array of horse-racing, entertainment, and most importantly (in our opinion), world-class hospitality and service. Each of the 4 days presented new and exciting opportunities for our dedicated team of hospitality professionals to showcase their skills and assist in ensuring that each guest in attendance was provided with outstanding service – the Platinum Staffing way!

Platinum Staffing played a pivotal role during MCC across various venues – from bustling retail bars to sophisticated corporate dining spaces. Our expert staff ensured every guest’s experience was seamless, contributing significantly to the carnival’s reputation for exceptional service.
In retail food and beverage outlets, Platinum’s team delivered quick, efficient service to the thousands of attendees eager to enjoy the carnival atmosphere. Their professionalism kept operations smooth, ensuring guests had a delightful experience while grabbing a bite or drink amid the excitement of the races. Similarly, in the corporate spaces other members of our team ensured all guest needs and expectations were met day after day, keeping their smiles on and their standards high.
Birdcage – the Crown Marquee Experience
Perhaps the most glamorous setting for Platinum Staffing was the renowned Crown Marquee in the Birdcage. Known for its exclusivity and luxurious ambiance, the marquee required nothing short of perfection – which our team delivered!
With the Platinum team exclusively covering the front of house operations, the vibes were high as the staff members provided bespoke food and beverage service to VIP guests, including celebrities, influencers, and racing enthusiasts. Their attention to detail, polished demeanour, and passion for service ensured the Crown Marquee maintained its prestigious reputation.
